Masters of the Dead is a 1v1 monster-themed fighting game proof of concept developed for PC and console. The project was created to explore core fighting game systems, character move design, and animation-driven combat.
I was responsible for game design, character animation, and 3D asset creation, including designing and animating two playable fighters and their full move sets. The project reuses select assets from Horror Legends to allow rapid iteration and focus on combat feel, timing, and readability rather than content scale.
As a proof of concept, the goal was not full production polish, but to validate:
Core combat mechanics
Character differentiation through move design
Responsiveness and animation clarity in a fighting game context
